Sports stars, soap actors and musicians have signed up for the new series of Cooking With The Stars, including Chris Eubank, Matt Willis and Gavin & Stacey's Joanna Page.

The ITV show returns later this year, and joining them will be Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon and Love Island’s Indiyah Polack.

The heat of the kitchen is a long way from the iconic cobbles of Corrie and a sun-soaked villa.

Emma Willis and Tom Allen return to host the show this year.

"Filming Cooking with the Stars is always a highlight for me as not only do Tom and I have lots of fun, but we also get to try some phenomenal food,” said Emma.

“We have a great cast this season, who will no doubt be feeling the pressure as they head into the kitchen. We've seen blood, sweat and tears on previous series, and I'm sure this series will be no exception.

“A whole lot of great food, celebs reaching boiling point plus Emma Willis and me holding court – sounds like my dream party,” added Allen.

“I am so excited to be bringing back to your screens the glitziest competitive cooking show in the world.”

In total, eight celebrities will be taking on challenged in the kitchen.

Also joining the cast is actor Jason Watkins, Peter Andre and Claire Richards from Steps.

Celebrities are teamed up with a professional chef, who then acts as their Chief Mentor, ahead of the contestants going through an intense Cooking Battle.

The loser will fight for their place in the competition in the Cook-Off.

McFly drummer Harry Judd and This Morning presenter Dr Ranj Singh won the previous two series.
