As we await the much-anticipated return of Big Brother, its new-look eye has been unveiled.

The iconic reality show is set to be rebooted on ITV2 and ITVX later this year for a “refreshed, contemporary new series” and to get us excited, the first glimpse of the Big Brother eye was revealed last night (31st July) in an exclusive promo which aired during the Love Island final, as well as across ITV1, ITV3, ITV4 and ITVBe.

The iconic logo tease comes hot on the heels of the announcement that AJ Odudu and Will Best are going to be the reality show's new hosts.

Have a look at what the new eye looks like here:

Whilst an exact date has yet to be announced for the new series, the all new Big Brother house will welcome its new house mates sometime later in 2023, with footage from the house set to be live streamed into the small hours every night on ITVX after the Big Brother companion show.

Joining new presenters Odudu and Best will be a familiar voice. Marcus Bentley is set to return as the narrator, a job he has done since the reality show began all the way back in 2000.

The trademark live evictions will also return, with the public voting throughout the series until one contestant is crowned winner.

The show previously ran on Channel 4 for 11 series from 2000 until 2010. After this, Channel 5 acquired the rights and relaunched it in 2011. At the end of the 19th series in 2018, Channel 5 announced that the reality show would not be returning. ITV picked it up earlier this year.

The show delivered some classic moments, including the Nasty Nick confrontation in series one, Kate Lawler winning series three, and the late Nikki Grahame’s time in the diary room.

Big Brother will air on ITV2 and ITVX in Autumn 2023.
