Exciting news for fans of Neighbours, as a trailer for the new series has been released.

There was previously outrage when fans thought the show had been cancelled, with huge farewell shows with guest appearances from Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.

It was brought back from the brink though, and a new trailer confirms it will be starting again from September 18th.

Even better, fans in the UK won't have a delay, as the show will be aired the same week as Australia.

No more avoiding spoilers on the internet! It will be available to watch on Amazon Freevee.

Fan favourites are set to make a return too.

It was previously confirmed that Annie Jones (as Jane Harris), Rebekah Elmaloglou (as Terese Willis), Georgie Stone (as Mackenzie Hargreaves), and Tim Kano (as Leo Tanaka) will be back as series regulars.

The much loved Ian Smith (as Harold Bishop), April Rose Pengilly (as Chloe Brennan), and Melissa Bell (as Lucy Robinson) will also have guest appearances.

More than 60,000 viewers had signed a petition to save the show, when Channel 5 revealed it was being axed after 37 years on air.

Viewers replied excitedly to the trailer on social media.

"So much in a small clip... excited for the return" wrote one.

"Omg OMGGGGGGGGGGG I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!" added another, excitedly.

"Oh wow, this gave me the biggest butterflies!!! I'm so excited and can't wait for 18th September" wrote this fan.

"So excited for this!" agreed another.
