Big Brother has revealed a huge plot twist which is bound to cause chaos in and outside the house.

As the housemates head towards their final few days in the ‘comfort’ of Big Brother, the remaining eight contestants are in for a bumpy ride to this week’s final.

On Sunday evening (12th November), the popular rebooted show which will return next year with Celebrity Big Brother revealed via social media that three housemates were going to be immediately evicted following a tough round of face-to-face nominations from all the remaining stars.

But, as the show went on to explain in more detail during its spin-off programme Big Brother: Late & Live, all will not be as it seems surrounding this shock triple eviction.

Rather than actually being evicted from the house without a public vote, the three nominated contestants will instead be being sent to “a secret Task Room to monitor the other Housemates and hear the fall-out from their ‘shock departure’”.

A glimpse of this secret task room was shown on Late & Live, revealing three beds, more cameras, and also how these contestants would now themselves join Big Brother in spying on the others.

Viewers will be able to watch as both houses continue with their daily lives, before getting the option to choose two of the nominated second house dwellers to evict for real.

But in a twist which is sure to cause chaos back in the original Big Brother house, the housemate who is saved will then be able to return to live with the rest of the show’s contestants “to confront those that evicted them.”

Fans reacted with a lot of excitement to the news, both because it revealed that the dramatic promise of face-to-face evictions which were cancelled last week has now been delivered, and how the twist in the three’s supposed ‘eviction’ would surely lead to more juicy drama for us all to watch.

Big Brother continues on ITV2 and ITVX every night from 9pm.
