Big Brother's Chanelle defends 'boring' housemate as she reveals predictions for final week

Big Brother’s Chanelle has a lot to say about her fellow housemate Tom and viewers’ reactions to his personality so far.

Speaking exclusively to virginradio.co.uk following her eviction last Friday, the Welsh dental therapist came to the defence of the 21-year-old, who she thinks has been unfairly branded as “boring” by those reacting to the show on social media.

“On the outside, people think Tom is boring,” Chanelle said, considering what she’s learnt since leaving the house. “But on the inside of the house he’s so much fun,” she continued.

“He’s such a sweet boy, and I don’t know whether people have seen how he teaches Yinrun how to cook, and he was teaching Matty the other day to sew,” the contestant who was the seventh person to leave the Big Brother house added.

She concluded: “His playfulness and cheekiness, he just like uplifted everybody’s mood, and you do really need somebody like that in the house when it is so like a pressure cooker.”

Chanelle fears Tom may be a victim of tonight’s shock sudden eviction nominations, however, and that the public may not vote for him to stay in the house - which will be making room for a new batch of celebrity contestants next year.

During her post eviction interview with virginradio.co.uk, the 29-year-old also revealed after much consideration who she wants to win Big Brother, as well as who she thinks will win in reality.

“I feel like there’s two winners which I kind of have in my head, and then there’s one [other person] which I think will win,” the star teased.

She went on to explain how “having experienced it” the two people who stood out to her in the house as winner material were Matty and Olivia. “[They’ve] been on a journey,” she explained, before adding: “But I think Henry might take the win.”
