Taskmaster star Alex Horne has announced his next new telly role - and he’s finally coming out of the shadow of the Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies.
Switching things up slightly, Little Alex Horne will find himself in the guest-hosting chair at the helm of Have I Got News for You on BBC One, according to Digital Spy.
Team captains Ian Hislop and Paul Merton will be back on their respective panels, while the likes of Carol Vorderman and Jack Dee making up their guest panellists.

In a statement about his brand new gig, Alex said: "Although I suspect it's an admin error and they actually want me to pass the request on to my boss, I'm very excited to be hosting an episode of Have I Got News for You.
"I am rarely in charge, whether at work, at home or by myself, so I'm hoping a hitherto undiscovered domineering side of my personality will be unleashed all over Paul and Ian."
The Horne Section star will have the great honour of closing out the current series on 7th June, following in the footsteps of Amol Rajan and Victoria Coren Mitchell.
Alex recently sat down with The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with webuyanycar to discuss the legacy of Taskmaster, and went into detail about those tasks that will forever stick out in his memory.
The show's creator discussed one beloved task, which involved fan-favourite comedian Bob Mortimer. Alex explained: “The favourite of the crew might be... there was one which we didn't do for a few series because we didn't know where it would go; ‘Give Alex a special cuddle’. And that didn't seem appropriate, but eventually we said ‘let's just do it’.
“So that ended up with me in the boot of Bob Mortimer’s car. Just Bob Mortimer cuddling me in the boot of his car. And in the boot of his car, he already had a spray deodorant and a banana. He'd never been in the boot of his own car before, but now he has.”
And as for the tasks that viewers especially love, Alex said: “They like the music ones. They like the ones where the comedians have to come up with a song quickly. There's Romesh Ranganathan singing a song about the tree wizard. That was our first viral hit.”
When a listener asked what Alex would come up with if he had to set a task for the Chris Evans Breakfast Show team, the comedian answered: “It's always food related. It would be, eat something beginning with every letter of the alphabet within the hour.”
Taskmaster is available to stream on Channel 4.
