Viewers rave about film you might have missed that has 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes

If you're looking for something new to watch, fans have been praising a new film which has been released on Netflix.

Despite being released last year, Godzilla Minus One seems to have passed many people by.

Since being added to Netflix, the film has received rave reviews and high praise from fans on social media, with many declaring it "the best film" they've seen.

It has scored highly on Rotten Tomatoes too, with a critic score of 98% as well as an audience score of 98%.

The synopsis reads: "Japan is already devastated by the war when a new crisis emerges in the form of a giant monster."

Fans have flocked to social media to sing the praises of the film, with some calling it an "emotional rollercoaster."

"I was prepared for Godzilla minus One to be a more cerebral Godzilla movie. I was absolutely not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster of this film. 100% WEPT through this sequence. The depiction of family devastation and reconnection in the postwar environment is MOVING," wrote one fan.

"The movie that should have been in your 2023 Top Ten if you actually like movies, GODZILLA MINUS ONE, is FINALLY available on Netflix!!!!!!" added another.

"Godzilla Minus One. Finally got to see it! 10 out of 5 stars. We loved it" praised one viewer.

The film has also claimed the accolade of being the first film to take the #1 spot on both Netflix and iTunes at the same time.
