As the duo’s post makes clear, details about the new series are being kept completely under-wraps at the moment. Whether the programme will see the pair revisit the Pennines for more adventures or visit a new location for their activities remains to be seen - although its likely the two will be exploring somewhere new.

Despite the fact yesterday (5th June)’s news was limited in details, fans of Helen and Dan are delighted with the news that the two will be returning for another show.

“Loved the last programme, so pleased you’re gonna do another,” one person wrote in the comments of Dan and Helen’s post. “Excellent news! We loved the last series!!!” another person agreed.

The news certainly must have been welcome with Dan and Helen themselves, as the former BBC Breakfast star told fans in the past that they were hoping to get to return to Channel 5 with another travel series in the future.

“Your comments have really been so kind and encouraging throughout the series and I have sent lots of them through to the teams at WAG and Channel 5,” Dan commented after the pair’s first series aired.

“We'd love to make a second series somewhere else so make sure you let Channel 5 know if you want another one.”

Speaking before heading off to film series one of their joint travel show, Dan said: “It will be nice to escape the studio for a while and join a good friend to discover a beautiful slice of the UK and meet some amazing people along the way.”

Helen shared his enthusiasm, adding: “I’m really looking forward to it and grateful for the opportunity to have some incredible adventures with my friend Dan.”
