To celebrate their 200th anniversary, Cadbury are bringing back another beloved chocolate bar - and it’s had a major makeover.
20 years after it first left shop shelves, the retro Top Deck bar is making a comeback.
First launched in 1993, the Top Deck bar features a layer of smooth white chocolate on top of a milk chocolate base, giving the absolute best of both worlds.

While it’s not been in the UK since the noughties, Top Deck is still sold in Australia and South Africa, and very briefly returned here in 2020.
According to Cadbury, the sumptuous treat will return later this month for a limited run as part of the anniversary celebrations and will no doubt turn heads with its brand new look.
The new Top Deck will have “vintage inspired packaging” which will be a “trip down memory lane for 90s babies.”
Cadbury Brand Manager Mara Popa said (via The Grocer): “We’re delighted to be answering Cadbury fans’ requests and relaunching Cadbury Top Deck in the UK for a limited time.
"With two delicious layers of milk and creamy white chocolate, every bite of Cadbury Top Deck will reward you with pure indulgence!”
Cadbury had been keeping chocolate fans on their toes recently after teasing the return of a beloved bar on Instagram.
Even before the big reveal was made, fans were clamouring for Top Deck, with one follower commenting: “Wow, Top Deck ! Always bit this so it split into two layers and ate separately.”
“TOP DECK MY ABSOLUTE FAV OMGGGGG,” wrote another, while a third excitedly shared: “TOP DECK! Always been so jealous that Australia have this as standard - same with caramilk so can’t wait to have it over here!”
The retro revamp isn’t just exclusive to Top Deck either, with Cadbury on a mission to celebrate all their creations over the last 200 years.
The classic Dairy Milk bar was given a retro design back in January, which gave chocolate aficionados a trip down memory lane, and all for a good cause.
In the spirit of celebration, Cadbury is marking its 200th anniversary by partnering with Alzheimer's Research UK. The confectionery company is contributing £200,000 to support research aimed at finding a cure for dementia and raising awareness about this critical condition.
The details about this partnership are prominently featured on the new Cadbury Dairy Milk Bars, guiding consumers to the charity's website to explore ways of supporting dementia research.
