James Blunt and Sam Ryder performed in Chris Evans’ garden at the weekend for a very good cause.

With Chris having hosted the last of his long-running Dine & Disco events in 2023, a cracking new charity event was born on Saturday (22nd June), to raise much-needed funds for UK Children's Charities.

Gig in the Garden saw singer-songwriter James Blunt perform his classic hits for attendees, who raised a huge amount by bidding for tickets to the event.

Also performing in the sun was Eurovision star Sam Ryder, and there were entertaining and insightful talks from the likes of David Walliams, Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil and more.

And the fun didn’t end there, as revellers later danced into the small hours at an after party in a second venue, featuring ace DJs and more brilliant live music.

A new video has now been shared, giving a glimpse at the epic fun that was had at the event, as well as a look at some of the delicious food from Michelin-starred chefs, and the thirst-quenching drinks that were on offer.

In the clip, we see You’re Beautiful singer James Blunt getting sweaty as he performs to a packed tent, and he even embarks on a bit of crowd-surfing at one point!

We also see Sam Ryder sing outdoors and meet fans, and Chris talk with other celebs.
