Fans react as BBC confirms ‘Quizzy Mondays’ are back as popular shows return

Delighted viewers have expressed their joy at news of the upcoming return of ‘Quizzy Mondays’ on the BBC.
Quiz fans are punching the air as three popular shows are making their long-awaiting comeback to the small screen on the traditional Monday evening. The trio of TV favourites will land on BBC Two on Monday August 12.
Clive Myrie will kick off 'Quizzy Mondays' with Mastermind on Monday at 7.30pm, Victoria Coren Mitchell will return to lead Only Connect at 8pm, while Amol Rajan will take the reins of University Challenge at 8.30pm.

Presenter Amol Rajan said: "It’s been a summer of great competition on our screens, with high drama, tense finishes and shining talent.
"And the thrilling new series of University Challenge continues in that vein."
