Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan is the queen of celebrity roasts.

She can be seen dishing the dirt on ITV2 show , where it’s possible for celebrities to stop the abuse by using their safe word.

But you agree to appear on the show at your peril!

“There are no boundaries on ,” Ryan told Jamie East. “We don’t bring up things like illness, or people’s children, but not because they are below the belt, just because they’re not very funny.”

Celebrities who have been on the receiving end of Ryan’s acerbic wit so far include Sinitta, Katie Price and Vicky Pattison, but who would be her chosen victim if she could pick someone?

“A lot of people think I would choose someone I dislike, but it’s quite the opposite,” she added. “Roasting someone I admire is the best way to do it and the more they’ve got on their CV, the happy I am to do it.

“There are a lot of great celebrities in the UK. I’d like to do someone who hasn’t been unfiltered, or hasn’t been vulnerable, someone who takes themselves a little more seriously, perhaps. Maybe Simon Cowell?

“I bet he’s a lovely man and I would to roast him.”

Safeword airs tonight (Thursday) on ITV2 at 10pm.
