Blink-182 are headed for glory once again with their new album .

The band's seventh studio album, will hit the shops on 1 July.

Ahead of its release, Mark Hoppus and new member Matt Skiba trekked all the way to the heart of the British capital where they spoke with Virgin Radio's Matt Richardson.

As well as discussing the hard work that went into the new album, we also heard a couple of interesting little facts about the band. We learned they shared a plane with Mary J. Blige, Mark has memorised the alphabet backwards and Matt has a particular interest in string theory. Who knew?
