It's Bake Off time again, and this week Kate Lawler caught up with Rav Bansal.

And it's clear that, even though he left the show last week, the university support worker thoroughly enjoyed his stint in the tent,

"It’s weird watching it back," he admitted, "but I’m really happy with what I achieved. My biggest fear was getting kicked out at week one, so anything beyond that I was happy with."

So his performance was not too shabby at all then considering he made it all the way to week six, creating a cracker of an amuse-bouche and having proved to Mary he ‘can meringue’ along the way.

Although ‘tent-head’ got the better of him in botanical week, he’s already got a website up and running at www.ravbansal.com, so perhaps it’s unsurprising that ‘all about the flavours’ Rav is certainly keen to continue in the kitchen.

"Being in the bake-off tent has not put me off at all, I’d love to release a book," he added.

And if that doesn’t work out, will he take Kate’s advice and hit up teeth modelling? You’ll have to have a listen to find out!
