UK vinyl sales have soared to multi-year highs - and it's all thanks to David Bowie.

The rock legend passed away last January, after a private battle with cancer. Now it's been revealed the vinyl release of his last studio album  was the highest-selling of the year, beating Adele's  to the top spot.

UK vinyl sales reached an overall 3.2 million last year, a 25-year-high and a 53% leap in sales from 2015.

A special tribute to the rockstar is set to take place at the Brixton Academy this weekend to mark both his birthday and the first anniversary of his death.
