Nothing can quite compare to last night’s vomiting and gagging extravaganza, but Shane Richie and his new trial partner Hollie Arnold are back to take part in Wicked Waterways - but this time, Ant and Dec are keeping their lips zipped.
The presenters have been accused of making the challenges easier for the celebs and helping them ‘cheat’ their way to getting more stars.
In a clip from tonight’s show, the duo can be seen taking a step back from advising the contestants as Shane and Hollie aimlessly scrabble about cluelessly in the water-themed challenge.
Ant says in the background: "I don't think they'll do all this, you know."
EastEnders actor Shane, 56, and Paralympian Hollie, 26, have the unenviable task of crawling through a tunnel and filling up buckets of water. Sounds easy? It’s not.
Dec comments: "They're making hard work of this. There's nothing we can say to help.
"You fill the bucket of water, pour the water in the collection point. That's all it is."
It comes after Dec admitted he’s been giving the hunger-stricken celebs a bit of a hand this year following in the style of 2018’s stand-in-host Holly Willoughby, who took over while Ant was in rehab.
Phillip Schofield, 58, told This Morning viewers that he thought Jessica Plummer and AJ Pritchard wouldn’t have won so many stars if Ant and Dec hadn’t have chipped in with their helpful comments.
Sat with Holly on the sofa, Phil told viewers: "Dec said yesterday in a text sent to both of us: 'I never, ever helped in the trials, ever, until Holly showed me how to.
"It's your fault they got as many as six, Holly,” Phil joked.
To which the presenter replied: “You're welcome."
