Brave Linda Nolan says her cancer has spread and she’s scared of the future

Fighter Linda Nolan is keeping her spirits up as she says her cancer has further spread to her liver. The talented singer has been suffering from the disease since 2006 and has opened up about her future.

Living with untreatable secondary breast cancer which she has fought for 14 years, the determend star says she'll be here for as many Christmases as she can - but she's also scared.

The singer told The Mirror: "The consultant turned to me and said the CT scan had shown something on my liver again. I asked if it was cancer and he said yes.

"It's scary, I'm not going to lie. I try to be upbeat and positive but I had a really bad day when I got back.

"I told my sisters I was fine but when I got inside my house, I cried," she said. "I needed to have that cry because I'm scared to death of dying.

"I don't want to know if I've got 18 months, two years or whatever.

"All I want for Christmas is to be around for a few more Christmases."

The singing sisters are keeping busy with their own TV show, At Home with the Nolans, which also focusing on Linda and sister Anne's cancer journeys on Tuesdays at 10pm on Quest Red.
