For parents pulling their hair out, The Works have come up with a 'stay at home package’ for those losing it in lockdown.

With children homeschooling until at least February half term, the shop has come up with the idea for desperate mums and dads.

Inside the kiddie care packages are an assortment of arts and crafts such as colouring pencils and activity books.

Costing £6, one parent clocked the parcel in her local shop and shared the news on the social media page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

She wrote: “The Works are doing stay at home packs, prices vary depending on contents, cheapest I saw was £6 and had a good amount in it.

“Could be a good idea for kids when the schools close tomorrow," racking up more than 6k likes on Facebook.

The Giant Bag of Assorted Craft contains 'a multitude of crafts for kids to keep them quiet on rainy days and holidays'. (And ongoing pandemics).

One mum applauded: “What a great idea!"

Another said: “Looks fabulous. I'm buying one now."
