Wayne's World reunite for a new Super Bowl ad

It's not quite the new film fans are hoping for, but Wayne's World's Mike Myers and Dana Carvey reunited and brought the infamous characters back for a new Super Bowl advert.

Amy Voce is a huge fan of the rock'n'roll pair, and we're all glad to have them back even if it's just for an ad.

The much-loved Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar were back for an advert for the Superbowl, in a new skit that proved to be very timely.

The duo are promoting food delivery company Uber Eats in the new ad, and they also couldn't help but make a joke about what a weird year 2020 has been.

“2020 man, that was a great year… Not!” Wayne laughs.

They then spend the rest of the time riffing about “the game” and “big bowl”, in an attempt to avoid copyright problems with the Super Bowl.

The pair previously reunited for a YouTube episode last year. and they appeared at the Oscars in 2019 in support of film .

Myers claimed that they were “not worthy” to be in the presence of Queen.

This year’s Super Bowl halftime show is due to he headlined by The Weeknd on February 7.

He's already spent $7 million (£5.1 million) of his own money for the performance.
