Monica Lewinsky has amazed her 1m social media followers with how to fasten a bracelet single handedly. The infamous former White House intern at the centre of the nineties sex scandal with Bill Clinton impressed users with her simple jewellery life hack using a bit of tape.

The Ted Talk speaker, anti-bullying activist and 'ex-beret model' shared: "How to put on a bracelet when no one is around."

A user responded by suggesting a different strange technique: "I've always used a dab of marshmallow fluff and then you can just lick it off afterwards - it's sort of recycling."

Another added: "Safety pin works too. Either way - most of struggle will be in locating the tape or a safety pin."

One user questioned:" Really? That seems so simple. I use my teeth!"

Others applauded: "Best 'Life Hack' I have ever seen! Brilliant!"

One jewellery fan shared: "I’ve used a Bracelet Buddy for at least 25 years. Genius invention."

A fan joked: "Showing this to my wife. One more thing I’m no longer needed for."

Another user wrote: "Thanks for changing my life!"

Speaking in an interview with ITV's This Morning last year about the mid-nineties nightmare, she admitted: "It's hard for us to imagine in today's world... but to have gone to bed as a private person and to awaken the next morning with the world knowing me was shocking.

"I couldn't count how many times people had said horrible things about me online, but I could count on one or two hands how many times people had been cruel to me to my face."

Previously making a joke about the scandal on social media, she answered a thread when quizzed what the "worst career advice" she'd ever received was by mocking: "An internship at the White House will be amazing on your resume."
