Piers Morgan has made Twitter waves by teasing about an upcoming new gig. The former Good Morning Britain host posted a picture of Leonardo DiCaprio's character in The Great Gatsby to rattle users and wrote: "Cheers to all my haters. Be patient. So much more is coming."

With 7.3k likes and thousands of comments, one user applauded: "Well you don't have to say cheers to me Piers because I'm not one of your haters. Just waiting for you to come back on any breakfast show because we are all missing the entertainment you give us all and you're worth every penny."

Another said: "This is why I miss you on GMB Piers. It’s just not the same anymore."
