Paul finally experiences the hands of time in his Apple TV+ series after countless questions about which fountain of youth he drinks from.
At 52-years-young, Paul has famously retained his age-defying complexion throughout the years, from his big screen debut in 1995’s Clueless, all the way through to the latest Ghostbusters film Afterlife.
But now, thanks to the very talented make-up team on his latest series The Shrink Next Door, we finally get to see how he might look in another thousand years or so.
Paul plays psychiatrist Dr Ike Herschkopf in the Apple series, which also stars Will Ferrell and Kathryn Hahn.
In new shots of the drama, Paul can be seen with grey hair, a salt-and-pepper facial beard and wrinkles, with his co-star Will Ferrell sporting a very similar aged appearance.
The Hollywood big-hitters are also executive producers of the dark comedy show, which is based on true-life events and adapted from the popular 2019 podcast of the same name.
The Shrink Next Door follows the story of Martin “Marty” Markowitz (Ferrell), who regularly visits psychiatrist Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (Rudd). Their patient/doctor relationship soon becomes far more complicated though, as Rudd’s character imposes himself on his patient’s life.

The show’s synopsis says that it “explores how a seemingly normal doctor-patient dynamic morphs into an exploitative relationship filled with manipulation, power grabs, and dysfunction at its finest.”
Paul was recently dubbed ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ by People Magazine, and so of course the internet went wild trying to figure out just how he retains his baby-faced glow.
One of his secrets was unearthed from a 2015 InStyle article, in which he dropped some advice we should all probably follow.
Paul said: “I am a big believer in sunscreen. I’m not one for tanning. I used to be, back when I was rocking the Depeche Mode look.
“Honestly, I wear sunscreen not to prevent wrinkles but because I don’t want to get skin cancer.”
In the same year, he told People Magazine he ‘didn’t drink any alcohol and had no carbs for a full year’ while prepping for Marvel’s Ant-Man. It doesn't sound fun, but if it keeps Paul looking ageless, we might have to give it a go.
