A royal red sauce! The Queen is launching her very own condiments range

We now have a pretty good idea what the Queen likes on her fry-up. 

The monarch is releasing her very own line of condiments, which you can buy from Sandringham’s gift shop. 

A tomato ketchup and brown sauce are on sale now, and cost £6.99 for a 295g glass jar.

You can feel like royalty while dipping chips into the sauces, which have the royal estate logo on their labels. 

The new saucy additions come after the Sandringham gift shop launched its own gin, with botanicals taken directly from the Queen’s garden. As well as some booze, there are also jams, ciders and biscuits available. 

It almost comes as no surprise you can get royal-approved tomato and brown sauce given how much the Queen loves a good burger. 

Former chef to the Queen, Darren O’Grady, not only made meals for Her Majesty but for the likes of Prince Harry, Prince William and Princess Diana during his 15-year career in the royal kitchen.

In an article for The Sun, the professional chef revealed the Queen had quite the taste for hamburgers!

You won’t catch her queuing up at McDonald’s for a cheeky 99p hamburger, however.

Her Majesty’s hamburgers are prepared from scratch by her special kitchen team, and she doesn’t eat them with a bun.

Talking about this discovery, Darren said: “It always tickled me at Balmoral, we would make our own burgers. They would shoot deer, and we would do venison burgers.

“There’d be gorgeous cranberry…stuffed into them, but we never set buns out.”

According to the chef, this dish was only prepared on occasions, and he spent most of his time making French-style food for the royals.

The one thing it seems the Queen will not go near, however, is pizza. During his 15 year career in the royal kitchen, Darren said he never once saw pizza being served.
