A new batch of hopeful singles will be saying ‘I do’ as E4 has confirmed the series will be making a comeback.

Married At First Sight UK (MAFS) had huge success last Autumn with its third series. In fact, it was All4’s third most-streamed series of 2021, and, together with the Australian version, it was the most popular programme on the streaming platform for the year.

Now, it is back and apparently bigger than ever, with E4 renewing its vows for the show and entering a multi-series deal for the show with CPL Productions.

The fourth season of MAFS will follow the same format with a group of eager singles looking for love and agreeing to walk down the aisle to marry a complete stranger who they will meet for the first time on their wedding day.

This season will have a total of 30 episodes, which is more than any other series of the show. Of course, more episodes mean more drama.

Our love-matching experts Mel Schilling, Paul Carrick Brunson and Charlene Douglas will also be returning to help the singles find their forever partner.

You might think it’s a completely bonkers idea to marry someone you’ve never met, but last season’s group proves it can work.

Adam and Tayah, who tied the knot last series, are still going strong and have even settled down in Doncaster with their new dog, River.

Talking about the process in an article for Metro, they said: “What can we say other than thank you to Mel, Paul and Charlene for helping us find each other. We don’t know how they did it, but we’re so grateful that they did.

“The MAFS experience was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and not a day goes by where we aren’t thankful for what we have gained from the process and the life-long friends we have made along the way.”

Dan and Matt, who also appeared on the show last year, are equally as loved up and say they would “heartily encourage anyone who is single and willing to take on something life-changing to apply for MAFS UK”.

If that has convinced you to give it a go, casting for the next series is now open. Submit your application here.

A release date for Married At First Sight UK season 4 has not yet been confirmed.
