Here’s a sneak peek of Daniel Craig and an all-star cast in Knives Out 2

A new Netflix trailer showcasing its big movies of 2022 has teased the much-anticipated sequel to Knives Out. And the film is offering quite an ensemble of talent!

Within the compilation of new movies that will be hitting Netflix, the trailer shows the line-up of Knives Out 2. In the foreground is Daniel Craig, with some of the rest of the boarding a yacht behind him. The new film will feature Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick and Ethan Hawke. 

The first Knives Out film, directed by Rian Johnson, was a big hit, both with critics and at the box office. It currently sits at 97 percent on Rotten Tomatoes after 468 reviews, and earned $311.4 million (£226 million), having been made for a $40 million (£29 million) budget.

The next two Knives Out movies have been acquired by Netflix, with the second installment, also directed by Rian Johnson, set to land this year. It will see Detective Benoit Blanc travel to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colourful suspects.

Other new films to look forward to, as well as Knives Out 2, include The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling, and Day Shift, which is a Jamie Foxx vampire movie. 

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown will be back for Enola Holmes 2, while the Netflix trailer also shows some other big stars, including Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopez, Mark Wahlberg, Kevin Hart, Queen Latifah Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth, and Jason Momoa.
