Ramsey Street spoiler alert. Neighbours will be saying g'day and adios to some favourite characters as the soap draws to a sad end after 37 years on our screens.

The last Aussie episode will air in August in the UK and it's not to be missed.

But before the street shuts up for the final time, viewers will be saying goodbye to newlyweds Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) and Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) mid April.

Colette Mann (Sheila Canning) revealed all about their departure in a recent Isolation Interviews chat with Hospital Radio Reading.

A soap insider told Digital Spy that Ben Hall (Ned Willis) will also be waving goodbye as he's come to the end of his contract.

So who's coming back for the big finale?

'Jelly belly' Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) and Shane Ramsay (Peter O'Brien) are making a welcome comeback to mark the final weeks, plus more surprise familiar faces.

Natalie Imbruglia, who played Beth from 1992 to 1994, has spoken about a possible return.

She told Digital Spy: “I would consider going back, I think it would be lovely to walk through those doors.”

A spokesperson for production company Fremantle recently said: "It is with sadness that after nearly 37 years and almost 9000 episodes broadcast, we are confirming that Neighbours will cease production in the summer.

"Following the loss of a key broadcast partner in the UK, and despite a search for alternative funding, we currently have no option but to rest the show.

"Everyone at Neighbours has been overwhelmed by the love and support from the audience since the news came out.

"The show has brought a sunny slice of Australia into the homes of millions of viewers around the world launching the careers of dozens of household names along the way.

"But as this chapter of Ramsay Street comes to a close, we promise to do everything we can to give the show the send-off it deserves."
