But it's not what you think!
The Bridgerton universe is getting bigger and bigger, with a new Queen Charlotte-focused novel en route.
The hit Netflix series is based on Julia Quinn's collection of novels. Last year, Netflix announced that a spin-off series on the character played by 52 year old Golda Rosheuvel was in the works. Quinn is working on the book with show producer, Shonda Rhimes.
"I'm especially thrilled to have the opportunity to write about Queen Charlotte, who was not in the original novels," the writer shared in a statement on her website. "Her character - and Golda Rosheuvel's brilliant portrayal of her - was a tour de force, and I think readers will love getting a chance to know her more deeply."
"Queen Charlotte has been such a moving character to write," added Rhimes, adding that getting to work alongside Quinn is "an exciting opportunity."
"I can't wait for fans of this universe to read the story of a character that has resonated so deeply with our audience," continued the Grey's Anatomy creator.
Connie Jenkins-Greig, previously seen in ITV's Mr Selfridge, will play the recurring character of Young Violet Ledger in the series, which is set to premiere in 2023. Violet is the daughter of Vivian and Lord Ledger, who will be played by Katie Brayben and Keir Charles.
As for the main series, it has also been confirmed that Bridgerton season three will skip ahead in the novel's timeline to focus on the romance between Penelope and Colin. Swoon!
