Neighbours favourite Ryan Moloney, who has starred in the show since 1993, has shared news about a new eye-opening career change. The actor, otherwise known as the iconic Toadie Rebecchi, is moving on and considering going into the world of construction.

"I'm not ruling anything out. I'm doing a civil construction course which is about driving excavators and building roads," Ryan told The Daily Telegraph

"I like playing with those kinds of machines. I like doing earthworks, all that kind of manual labour stuff. That's where I'm at, but who knows where it's all going to end up."

Ryan also trained as a pilot back in 2017 when he thought the popular soap was coming to an end and he still "might go back to flying when the time's right".

He told the Herald Sun about his decision to leave the long-running soap just before it got axed.

"But I have always said I want to ride the wave all the way to shore, so I am actually really grateful I got to do that and experience the end. What a wonderful thing to be able to do," he added.

We can't wait to see what's going to happen to Ramsay Street and its residents, past and present.
