Actor James Martin working at Starbucks despite starring in Oscar-nominated film

Northern Irish actor James Martin hasn't let stardom go to his head. Although he's rocking up to the Oscars in March over in Hollywood, the Belfast-born lad has gone back to his day job working at a Starbucks.
Starring in the Oscar-nominated short film, An Irish Goodbye, the 30-year-old has gone back to work despite the success and praise for the black comedy which tells a story of two estranged brothers who come together after their mother's death.
James plays one of the sons in the movie which is directed by Ross White and Tom Berkeley, and stars Game of Thrones’ Michelle Fairley, Line of Duty’s Seamus O’Hara and Paddy Jenkins.

Speaking about acting with Down’s syndrome, James said: "Take Stephen Hawking. He was a fantastic actor, he knew what he was doing but you just have to treat him like an adult. I always say to people never judge a book by its cover."
James was with his family when the nominations were announced. He said: "We were all so excited that we cried our eyes out completely when my brother Daniel texted and said it was shortlisted for the Oscars."

On the event, which is being held on his birthday in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 12, he said: "I would love to meet Robert De Niro. Liam Neeson, of course.
"I'm into Friends and so is my granda so it would be nice to meet Jennifer Aniston or Courteney Cox."
