If we could click our fingers and the darn kitchen would just clean itself that would be the dream. Luckily for us, one cleaning guru has shared her time-savvy tips on how to go from grubby to great in a few minutes.
The cleaning queen told The Sun her top tips to keep the kitchen clean and as pain-free as possible.
SCRAP THE SCUFF MARKS
If your walls are caked in more food than is in the fridge and you have stains on the stove and kitchen surfaces, remove scuff marks with a mixture of Borax and lemon juice.
Create a paste with the two ingredients and use a damp sponge to scrub away any marks and let it sink in for 5-10 minutes before rinsing away.
SHINING HARDWARE
Wipe handles with disinfecting wipes and make sure you let them air dry so the chemicals do their magic.
Get rid of unsightly fingerprints. If your hardware isn't aluminium or copper based you can use a clean cloth in distilled white vinegar.
SLAY THE SINK
Use a pan scraper to get rid of the stubborn bits around the kitchen sink and base of the taps.
You can also use it to get rid of burnt food off pots, pans and utensils.
FOCUS ON THE FRIDGE
Fridges can collect all sorts of dust, debris and last night's dinner around, underneath and deep in the crevices.
Using the nozzle attachment of your vacuum, clean the edges of the fridge and wipe down with a damp cloth to remove any pesky marks.
Voila. Clean, clear and with time left for a cuppa.
