It's been over two decades since the grunge outfit last performed.

Keanu Reeves' rock band Dogstar is making a long-awaited comeback, reuniting after a hiatus spanning over two decades. Originating from Los Angeles, the three-piece ensemble features Reeves on bass guitar, Bret Domrose on vocals and guitar, and Rob Mailhouse on drums.

Here they are back in the day.

The band's revival is set to culminate in a live performance at the 2023 BottleRock festival in Napa Valley, California, scheduled for May 27th. New songs are promised.

During their initial run from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s, Dogstar garnered significant media attention primarily due to the John Wick actor's involvement. Releases at the time included an EP named Quattro Formaggi (1996) and two albums titled Our Little Visionary (1996) and Happy Ending (2000).

Their last appearance, back in 2002, took place in Japan.

Rumours that the group's next performance is a residence at The Continental are yet to be confirmed.
