The rumour mill continues to swirl wondering whether Matty Healy and Taylor Swift are an item.

Now, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy appears to have commented on the rumours during a gig in Dundee at the weekend.

As the band were about to start their set, Matty spoke up.

“Is it all a bit? Is it sincere? Will he ever address it?” he joked to the crowd.

Page Six reports Matty as saying: “All of these questions and more will be ignored in the next hour. Ladies and gentlemen, this is The 1975.”

Fans are still suspicious about whether or not the pair are an item, following Taylor's split from her long-term boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

The first started back in May this year when eagle-eyed fans spotted Matty at Taylor’s concert in Nashville. and The Sun reported they had been dating for two months.

Sources said they were “madly in love”.

At her concert last week, Taylor said: “I kind of feel like telling you, I don’t know, I’ve just never been this happy in my life, in all aspects of my life ever before."

“It’s not just the tour. I just sort of feel like my life finally feels like it makes sense.”

The Sun has also reported claims that the couple are set to move in together.

They say Matty has shipped over his guitar effect pedals, audio interfaces, synths and MacBook Pro to set up home with Taylor.

An insider said: “He and Taylor are so loved up and want to spend as much time together as they can.

“Matty has already told the 1975 team that he’ll be doing all the band demos in America for the foreseeable.

“He will work on his parts for their collaboration while she is on tour and has scheduled time to attend select shows to gather inspiration for her next album.”

Matty's mum Denise Welch recently revealed she is taking a break from Loose Women.
