Arctic Monkeys play Mardy Bum for first time in more than a decade

Arctic Monkeys decided to start their recent show with a bang, playing a fan favourite that hasn't been on the setlist for a very long time.

Alex Turner and co kicked off their UK tour by playing the album version of 'Mardy Bum' for the first time since 2007 and fans are thrilled.

The band started their UK stadium tour in Bristol this week, on May 29th.

They will be calling in at Sheffield, Manchester, London and more.

They played a whopping 21 songs for the first show, including tracks from their latest album.

The opening song of ‘Mardy Bum’ came from their 2006 debut ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not;

They haven't played the album version live for a very long time.
