James Blunt makes new album announcement while 'locked in a cupboard'

James Blunt is never one to do things by halves, and the singer has shared news of a new album today in an unconventional way.
He has shared that the new album will be called 'Who We Used To Be', whilst "locked in a cupboard".
It will be the follow up to 'Once Upon a Mind' from 2019.
James confirmed it will be released on October 27th, and he has also shared a new single.
A rock ballad called 'Beside You', he says it is written about "being with "the one".
"It’s a bit of a celebration," he said.
“An upbeat banger about finally being with the one you’ve been searching for your whole life.”
James says: "Hey folks, I'm locked in a cupboard. So if you don't hear from me again, please pass on the news. I've got a new album out on October 27th called 'Who We Used To Be' and you can pre-order it now. And my new single 'Beside You' is out today."
He previously released a greatest hits collection called ‘The Stars Beneath My Feet’.
