The inspirational story of Simple Minds is on its way to the small screen. A new documentary-film, Everything Is Possible, showcases the band's rise from a group of working-class kids growing up in post-industrial Glasgow who 'dared to dream' to one of the most successful bands to emerge from the UK.

On 22 December, Paramount+ UK will premiere Simple Minds: Everything Is Possible and chronicle the most influential Scottish band in history, featuring interviews with band members Jim Kerr (vocals), Charlie Burchill (guitars, keyboards), Gordy Goudie (acoustic guitar), Ged Grimes (bass), Cherisse Osei (drums), and Sarah Brown (vocals).

Fellow musicians including Bob Geldof, Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan, The Specials’ Jerry Dammers, Texas' Sharleen Spiteri, Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield, plus writer Irvine Welsh, actress Molly Ringwald and album producers John Leckie, Pete Walsh, Steve Hillage, Trevor Horn and Jimmy Iovine, will also be featured.

Alive and Kicking hitmaker Jim Kerr, who recently spoke to our Chris Evans, explained: "We dared to dream big dreams then we found the will to make them happen! We believe anyone can go way beyond their dreams, and that everything is possible, if you are determined to keep on trying."

Fans reacted to the news: "Really looking forward to watching this... Simple Minds have been a huge part of my life with their music... basically the soundtrack to my life."
