Linkin Park's smash-hit song 'Numb' has hit a landmark total of streams.

The news comes the same week as Chester Bennington would have celebrated his 46th birthday.

The frontman tragically died in 2017.

It has now surpassed one billion streams on Spotify and is their second song to do so.

Watch it below:

'In The End' passed the total back in June last year.

The song is taken from their 2003 album 'Meteora', which sold more than 27 million copies worldwide.

'In The End' now has over 1.7 billion streams.

'Numb' went on to be reworked with the band with Jay-Z as "Numb/Encore."

Jay-Z told Rolling Stone: "Mental health is a real thing. You never know what people are going through, and you think because they’re performers and he sold 14 million records – that doesn’t equate to happiness. Money or fame doesn’t mean anything if you’re not happy inside."

Also in the "Billions Club" playlist are songs like Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', The Eagles' 'Hotel California', The Killers' 'Mr Brightside', Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin', Oasis' 'Wonderwall' and more.

Bennington's widow paid tribute to the star this week, and fans have been sending love to the band too.
