Johnny Marr is heading out on a headline tour before supporting Blondie

As well as touring with Blondie, Johnny Marr has announced a series of headline dates.

He's due to play some large arena dates with Blondie in May.

Fans now have the chance to see him perform his own shows as a warm-up to the Blondie tour with a series of dates, including Gloucester Guildhall, Bournemouth Old Fire Station, as well as Sheffield and Newcastle.

The Blondie tour begins on April 22nd at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow.

As well as Blondie, he is also hitting the road with The Killers for their North American tour.

The tour follows the release of his latest album, 'Fever Dreams pts 1-4'.

He recently opened up about the process of making the double album.

Marr also shared how exciting it was working on the Bond theme with Billie Eilish.
