Award-winning John Legend has announced a very special musical spectacular at The Royal Albert Hall next year and here's everything you need to know.

The 12-time Grammy winner is performing at the iconic venue in the capital on 5 April 2023 following the release of his exciting new album out this autumn.

Flying the flag as the first African-American man to earn the prestigious EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards), new single Dope dropped last week and will be included on his new as-yet-to-be-named album.

To get pre-sale tickets, pre-order Legends' eighth album now to receive an access code on May 25, while general sale tickets will be available on May 27 both at 9am.

Legend spoke about how his own family's still born grief had inspired his eighth studio album: "There's music dealing with grief and what it feels like to mourn, and to try to pick up the pieces after you've lost something.

"When you lose a pregnancy and you have to go through that grief together, it can be really difficult for a family," he explained.

"Hopefully creating music out of it can be healing for me and for other people too."

Listen to Virgin Radio Chilled, where you can hear John Legend and plenty more relaxing music.
