He’s searched around the universe, and next year he’ll be travelling a little closer to home, as Sam Ryder has announced that he’ll be heading out on a tour of the UK and Ireland.

The artist, who represented the UK so brilliantly at this year's Eurovision, will embark on a 14-date run of dates, starting in Belfast in March, and finishing up in Brighton in April. Between those two gigs, Sam will visit Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, and Liverpool, as well as Leeds, Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff, Bristol, and Bournemouth.

The tour follows Sam’s upcoming album, titled, There’s Nothing But Space, Man, which will land on October 14th.

The singer first came to people’s attention via TikTok, and earlier this year finished second in the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, with Space Man. Only the Ukrainian entry, Kalush Orchestra, scored more points, and Sam’s efforts were the best seen from the UK since all the way back in 1997. The song also hit number two in the UK single charts.

And if you can’t wait until October to hear the album, or until next year to see Sam live, then you can get a bit more of him in your lives simply by tuning in to the new series of Celebrity Gogglebox on Channel 4. He appears in the show alongside DJ Scott Mills, taking in the week’s telly from the sofa.
