People have gone wild after Olivia Rodrigo jumped on stage at a bar in Manchester to perform an impromptu cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s Torn last night (3 July).

The Good 4 U singer was in the UK following her performance at Glastonbury festival on Saturday, 25 June and had just headlined the Apollo Arena in Manchester as part of the UK leg of her SOUR TOUR.

After the show, she headed to Bunny Jackson’s bar, a small venue in the city, to celebrate and treat people to a very special performance.

Between scheduled performances at the bar, Rodrigo reportedly asked the band playing if she could get up and do a song herself.

Of course, nobody can say no to that!

The singer then got up on stage and stunned fans with a rendition of Natalie Imbruglia’s 1997 hit Torn.

One of the performers scheduled to play Bunny Jackson’s last night shared a video of impromptu gig on Twitter, and said: “Why yes Olivia Rodgrio, of course you can turn up at Bunny Jacksons on a bloody Sunday evening and play a song for a laugh before our 3rd set.”

Rodrigo is known for covering artists and songs from the 90s and early 2000s, especially on her current tour. She has recently covered the likes of Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morissette and Sinéad O'Connor.

During her Glastonbury set this year, the singer was joined by Lily Allen onstage to sing a special cover of F***k You, dedicated to the Supreme Court in American following the overturning of Roe vs. Wade.
