Big Feastival: Sam Ryder, The Human League, Stereophonics and more to perform

It’s only a month until some top talent - including Stereophonics, Sam Ryder, The Human League, Jake Bugg, Alfie Templeman, and Anne-Marie - head to the Cotswolds for Alex James’ Big Feastival.

Taking place on the Blur bassist’s farm this upcoming August Bank Holiday, (26th – 28th August), Big Feastival boasts a cracking line-up of music, food and family entertainment. 

The main stage will be hosted by Vick Hope, Laura Whitmore, and Vernon Kay, and will see Sugababes play a set. There will also be performances from Gabrielle, The Futureheads, and The Sherlocks, as well as a DJ set from Basement Jaxx.

Also on the line-up are The Lottery Winners, The Cuban Brothers, Duke, and Lola Young.

In terms of headliners, synth-pop icons The Human League will kick off the party on Friday night, Saturday night will see multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Anne-Marie perform, and Welsh rock heroes Stereophonics will close the event on the Sunday. 

When your tummy starts to rumble at the event - which is presented by M&S Food - there will be plenty of feasting options from critically acclaimed chefs, and award-winning street food.

Clare Smyth MBE, who became the first British woman to be awarded three Michelin stars, will be there. Also at the festival will be pastry chef extraordinaire, author and Junior Bake Off judge Ravneet Gill, and the mastermind behind Wahaca, Thomasina Miers who is set to showcase her Mexican street food. The BBC’s Great British Menu winner James Cochran, TV favourite Romy Gill MBE, Tom Barnes, Robin Gill, and Ching He Huang MBE also be in attendance.

There'll be lots of family entertainment as well, including Children’s TV Megastar Justin Fletcher, Andy & The Odd Socks, Bluey & Bingo, and Cosmic Kids Yoga: Live With Jaime.

New for 2022 is The Smokery, which will bring some country and western flare to the festival, and will also be home to the new Sundown Saloon stage, which will play host to a mix of live performances from some of Britain’s finest Americana and Blues artists. 

The Cheese Hub will also see stellar DJ sets, as will The Bandstand for lots of classic Feastival fun.

Other new additions include the Hidden Hollow, where kids and adults can get involved with bushcraft and den building, and an all-new Crafty Corner.
