Dancer Oti Mabuse isn’t putting a pause on her moves despite saying goodbye to Strictly earlier this week.

The Dancing On Ice judge will be swapping the panel for a special dancing platform on the upcoming episode of the skating competition this Sunday.

The pro dancer stepped into John Barrowman’s shoes as a judge on this series, and she is set to dance for the first time with fellow judges and skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

According to The Sun, ITV is making sure a special platform is made for her performance, which will be an adaptation of a dance in her stage show.

In an interview with the publication, Oti said: “I’m so honoured that Jayne and Christopher have choreographed the talented pro skaters for this special performance.

“It’s a dream come true to debut my I Am Here tour on Dancing On Ice this Sunday!

“This tour will be the end of the most amazing chapter of my life and it’s my way to say thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey.”

Jayne, who also helped choreograph the performance, added: “We always love to experiment with new ideas and it was so much fun working alongside Oti on this brand new routine.

“It really does show how much dance and ice skating can work in unison together.”

This exciting news comes a few days after Oti announced her departure from Strictly Come Dancing after seven years.

She shared the news on her Instagram along with a montage of pictures from her celebrity partners over the years.

In the caption, she wrote: “Never easy to say goodbye. I have been part of the most amazing TV show, Strictly Come Dancing for the past seven years and it has been an incredible time.

“Lifting the glitter ball twice and having the best journey with all my celebrities, but also meeting and working with the best team, crew, producers, celebs and incredible professional dancers!

“You are my family and I adore you all forever.”

The multi-talented star first appeared on the show in 2015 and went on to win the glitterball with Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher and then the following year with comedian Bill Bailey.

Oti won’t be short of things to do though. As well as Dancing On Ice, she’s also set to present a new primetime dating show called Romeo and Duet for the channel, which will air later this year.
