Could there also be a fifth season on the horizon?

Alan Ruck, who stars in the hit HBO show Succession, has revealed an update on the fourth season of the show.

In the show, Ruck plays Connor Roy, who is the eldest son of media mogul Logan Roy. Connor doesn’t play a huge part in the family’s power struggles but develops an obsession with becoming the President of the United States.

Speaking to Variety, the actor confirmed that he and the rest of the Succession cast are getting ready for filming to commence at some point in June.

He said: “I think the end of June is what we’ve scheduled right now, and I wish I could tell you more than that.”

The actor also teased the possibility of a fifth season!

He added: “All I know is there’s definitely a season 4- there may be a season 5.”

We hope so.

When asked when he would receive the scripts, the actor said: “Oh, like the night before. Oh yeah, we’ll have a read-through in early June, of maybe the first two scripts, and we’ll get them at, like, midnight the night before.”

Fans of the show will probably be happy to hear this news after that insane ending to season three.

In the season finale there was betrayal after betrayal with Logan selling out the family, Tom turning his back on Shiv and Kendall holding on by a thread.

Brain Cox, who plays Logan Roy on the show, also teased the possibility of a fifth season in an interview with British GQ in October.

He explained there could be two more seasons of the show but said: “Then I think we’re done.”

He added: “It depends what the writers feel. I know they’ve got an endgame. They haven’t told us what the ending is, but there is an endgame. So, it’s just how they get up to that endgame, whether it takes one series or two series.”

Season 1-3 of Succession are now available to stream on Sky catch-up and NOW.
