As anyone who has seen the BBC show This is MY House will know, the premise is a simple but good one. Four people walk into a home and say, “This Is MY House”. The catch is, only one of them is telling the truth, and it’s up to a celebrity panel of judges to work out who that is.

Now, a special Red Nose Day version of the show is on its way in aid of Comic Relief, in which four celebrity judges will have to decide who out of four fellow celebs is telling the truth.

Starring in the one-off, 30-minute episode will be Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman. She will be joined on the judging panel by comedian Harry Hill, ex-boxer Chris Eubank and Nina Wadia from Eastenders. The quartet will have to work out who the house belongs to as they virtually snoop around a luxury four bedroom home.

Meanwhile Claire Richards from Steps, Dragons' Den’s Deborah Meaden, criminal barrister and television personality Rob Rinder, and former boxer Ricky Hatton will be trying to pull the wool over the panel’s eyes. Well, three of them will be, because one is telling the truth.

On recording the charity episode of the show, Claire Richards said: “I had so much fun playing This Is MY House for such a special cause. I think people will be surprised and most importantly, entertained by how it all plays out. I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”

Rob Rinder added: “When I was asked to take part in this special episode of This Is MY House, I just had to say yes as I loved the first series. It was also a brilliant chance to take part for a fantastic cause, Comic Relief. It’s a cause close to my heart so it was an honour to be involved.”

Ricky Hatton said: “I had a good laugh playing with the other celebrities whilst doing it all for such an important cause, Comic Relief. It was great to be involved.”

Meanwhile Deborah Meaden said: “The amazing work that Comic Relief does in supporting those who need help, both here in the UK and internationally is so important. I hope people enjoy watching the show as much as I enjoyed taking part.”

Red Nose Day raises money to help people in the UK and around the world live free from poverty, violence and discrimination, and support people with their mental health.

Donations this year will also help to fund organisations providing essential support for people in Ukraine.

This Is MY House for Red Nose Day will air on Wednesday 16 March at 8pm on BBC One with the Red Nose Day taking place on Friday 18th March on BBC One from 7pm.
