Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe confirms birth of first child with Erin Darke

Congratulations are due for Daniel Radcliffe and Erin Darke after the birth of their baby.

The Harry Potter star has confirmed the birth of his baby with long-term girlfriend Erin, and the pair are first-time parents.

The Daily Mail shared photos of them pushing a pram in New York.

The fact they were expecting a baby was shared back in March.

The couple have been together for a decade after they met on set of the film Kill Your Darlings in 2013.

They haven't shared the sex of the baby or when they were born.

Daniel shot to fame starring in Harry Potter, and has previously said he would be happy if his kids worked in film.

Last year he told Newsweek: "I want my kids, if and when they exist... I would love them to be around film sets," he said.

"A dream would be for them to come on to a film set and be like 'God, you know, I'd love to be in the art department. I'd love to be something in the crew.'"

Darke is known for her role in 2015 series Good Girl Revolt.

She has also starred in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
