Neighbours fans are thrilled to have their favourite show back, but it will now be on Amazon Freevee instead of Channel 5.

Viewers were distraught when news of the cancellation was shared, and a petition soon clocked up thousands of signatures.

A farewell episode aired with Kylie and Jason and other legends from Ramsey Street, before the good news was shared that Amazon will continue to air the show.

A new trailer for the show has been aired, with the new series starting on September 18th.

The show will be airing Monday to Thursday each week.

How to watch Neighbours on Amazon Freevee?

For many people, this is the first time hearing about Amazon Freevee.

The good news is, if you already have Prime Video, you can watch content from Amazon Freevee straight through the Prime Video app.

However, all is not lost if you don't have it as Amazon Freevee is also available as a standalone app on a variety of devices.

Amazon’s Freevee app was launched in 2022, and you do need an Amazon account to watch it.

Do I have to pay for Freevee?

No, Freevee shows adverts to viewers to generate income rather than a subscription basis.

There is no option to pay to remove adverts, either.

They also claim to show around half the amount of adverts as you would see during a traditional TV show.

Amazon is hoping that people will consider Freevee after other streaming services put their prices up.

What other shows and films can I watch on Freevee?

As well as Neighbours, there are plenty of films and shows to watch.

This includes popular family movies including Paddington, Addams Family Values and The Princess Bride.

There is also Knives Out and The Invisible Man, plus popular series including Schitt’s Creek, Mad Men and The X-Files.

There is also plenty of original content, shared as Freevee Originals.
