Boardmasters festival cancelled due to extreme weather conditions

Florence and the Machine and Foals were set to headline the festival this weekend.

Organisers announced in a press statement late last night (August 6) that Boardmasters 2019 won't go ahead due to "severe weather conditions, specifically high winds".

The event was due to be held in Cornwall from Wednesday (August 7) until Sunday (August 11).

Other acts set to perform at the festival include Franz Ferdinand, Lewis Capaldi, Plan B and Razorlight.
