This weeks Six Picks:

The Gray Man

When the CIA's top asset -- his identity known to no one -- uncovers agency secrets, he triggers a global hunt by assassins set loose by his ex-colleague.

Gaby Says: “I really did get quite into it…I wouldn’t like to do the body count on it!”

The Gray Man is now available on Netflix

Marriage

In this new BBC1 drama, Sean Bean and Nicola Walker play a couple in a long-term marriage called Iann and Emma.

We see them navigating the ups and downs of their 30-year partnership and being parents to their daughter Jessica.

Gaby says: “The phenomenal Nicola Walker can do no wrong in my eyes”

It’s a four-part drama and the first 2 episodes are available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

Britain's Secret War Babies

Mary and John were born to British women and never knew their dads, who were African American GIs. Now, they embark on an emotional journey to learn about their fathers and their Black heritage.

Gaby spoke to Shawn Fletcher, the creator of the show, who said “It’s an emotional rollercoaster. I have watched about seven or eight cuts of it and everytime I’m crying”.

Britain's Secret War Babies is available on All4.

Anne With An E

Follow the amazing story of the life of Anne, a young and bright orphan, who undergoes a dramatic shift when she is adopted by a brother-sister duo.

Gaby says: “It is beautiful…I loved it”

La La Land

Can a pianist, and an actress, follow their passion and achieve success in their respective fields, and find love? Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling star in this modern day musical. With 5 Oscars to its name including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress in a Leading Role this will certainly get your heart beating this weekend.

Gaby says: “The very first time I saw this film, I was in awe of every moment. I cried a lot and went back to see it again a week later!”

La La Land is available to rent on Amazon Prime and Google Play.

EXTRA PICK FOR THE WEEKEND

Trainwreck: Woodstock 99’

The summer of love in 1969 is a time we all wish we could have experienced and Woodstock was the place to be. In 1999 the original creator Michael Lang wanted to give others the chance to experience but the music, culture and youth had changed a lot in 30 years. A line up of heavy metal bands, overpriced water and very drunk Frat boys led what was supposed to be a field of love into the biggest disaster any festival has ever seen.

You can watch Trainwreck: WoodStock 99’ on Netflix right now.
