The family favourite is adding a new flavour to the range.

Who doesn't love the moment when the milk turns chocolatey?

Many of us remember the advert with the beloved monkey, and now there's a new flavour to try.

Chocolate is getting a twist, with a hazelnut variety, and a box will set you back £3.

Adding milk will transform it to a chocolate hazelnut taste – think Nutella and you're close.

The experts at Kellogg's Coco Pops spent over a year working on the perfect flavour, which combines cocoa with notes of hazelnut.

The bad news is it will be a limited edition for one year, so you'd better stock up if you love them.

A strawberry and white chocolate version was released for 2021 and it was a roaring success, with 4,000 boxes sold every day.

Something tells us these will be popular too.

Fans have long been recommending eating normal coco pops with hazelnut milk-alternatives to get the flavour.

Amalia Diamanti, Kellogg’s food designer, said: ‘We spent over 12 months developing the new cereal to ensure it was the perfect flavour combination of cocoa and hazelnut.

‘Coco Pops has such a magical way of transforming milk into a chocolatey swirl, and hazelnut flavour is a natural pairing with it so we can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks.’

In 2018, Kellogg’s reduced sugar in Original Coco Pops by 40%.

More recently, there have been additions to the cereal aisle including cinnamon churros, and a Baby Shark themed cereal.

Kellogg’s Hazelnut Choc Flavour Coco Pops will be available in Asda and Iceland from this week and will roll out into all other major supermarkets over the month.
