The 'Someone You Loved' star has been taking time off from touring to record.

Fans have been waiting patiently for Lewis Capaldi to hit the road again, after he went on hiatus from touring and social media to focus on his forthcoming second album.

Following the smash-hit success of 'Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent' he's been holed up in the studio writing new music, but there's finally a new date for your diary.

He's added a headline show at Cardiff Bay’s Alexandra Head on Wednesday 20th July.

Tickets go on general sale this Friday 4th February at 10am Via LiveNation.co.uk

His debut album was the top-selling album of 2019 and 2020, and claimed the record for the most consecutive weeks in the chart for any solo artist.

The album became gold-certified just one week after release, and still holds the record for the most-streamed week 1 debut album.

It was reported that Dan Smith from Bastille has been working with Lewis on the new record too.

Lewis is also scheduled to play TRNSMT in Glasgow Green on Sunday, July 10.

He was recently quoted as saying he "can't wait" to release more music, and that "everything is getting into shape."

Capaldi has also been doing up his new home, with an impressive extension and additions.
